Amelia will present an overview of new technologies, including 5G, machine learning vs AI, and IoT, and look 5-10 years into the future considering how technology is likely to impact healthcare. She will explore the opportunities and risks we may face with these new advances, not only from a mental/physical aspect, but also from a data perspective. There are huge innovations already happening with 3D imaging/printing, HoloPorts in medical rooms, autonomous vehicles (bringing doctors to patients), and the potential for virtual reality to democratise training. What does all of this mean for us?
